MBBS registration number is also wrong

The registration number of this doctor’s MBBS belongs to a female doctor and there is no reliable record for other degrees. Senior police officer SP Shrutkirti Somvanshi confirmed and said, “Its degree appears to be fake and tampered with. His mobile, tablet and even email also show that his identity is fake. He has probably working as a doctor in Madhya Pradesh for seven or eight years. We have been questioning him.”

CMO sought clarification

According to the information, in the year 2006, this fake doctor operated former Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Rajendra Prasad Shukla at Apollo Hospital. Sources said that eight patients were killed during his tenure. At that time, there was a doubt of fake MBBS degree in the investigation.

A formal notice has been issued to the hospital management seeking a detailed explanation on the appointment of a fake doctor. The hospital has been asked to submit all the documents of his educational qualification and make it clear what action has been taken against the death of many patients including the former Speaker.

The officer confirmed, “We are investigating who is responsible from the agency to the hospital officer. The statement of the CMHO will also be recorded.” The case highlights the systemic failure spread from the hospital’s verification process to the lack of proper readiness of the Medical Council and the wrong confidence of the families mourning the loss of its loved ones.
