Ghazipur. In Ghazipur, UP, police have arrested 3 Muslim persons and sent them to jail. The matter is of Qasimabad. According to the police, these people were begging by pretending to be saints of UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s monastery and wearing saffron clothes. According to the information, all three Muslims reached Sukha village of Ghazipur and started begging there. The people of the village became suspicious of them. When the villagers interrogated them, all three got scared and started arguing with the villagers. After this, the villagers considered all three as suspects and started interrogating them fiercely. When the villagers interrogated all three, they could not maintain their secret and were forced to reveal the truth. He told that we are Muslims. All three revealed their names as Sohrab Khan, Shahzad Khan and Niad. All three told that they are residents of Atarsavan village located in Doharighat of Mau district. Enraged by this, the villagers immediately caught the three people from the Muslim community. On this the accused started trying to escape from the clutches of the villagers. He failed in this and then the villagers informed the police. As soon as information was received about fraud in the name of Yogi, the police of Kasimabad police station reached the spot.

At the same time, even before the arrival of the police, the villagers were angry at all three for wearing saffron clothes despite being Muslims and telling that they belonged to Yogi’s monastery. On their complaint, the police arrested all three and issued challan and sent them to jail. The police are talking about giving strict punishment to the accused in this case. Even before this, many Muslims have been caught in many places in the country on charges of disguising themselves as Hindus and begging or working as astrologers. There have been incidents of people asking for Aadhaar card from such people when they have doubts. For the first time, such a case has come to light, when Muslims have been caught begging by pretending to be saints of UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s monastery in Gorakhpur.
