Ayodhya. Another historical initiative is being taken to further strengthen religious, cultural and spiritual importance in Ramnagari Ayodhya. Under the ambitious schemes of the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh, the construction of a grand ‘Tilak Entrance’ on Panchkosi Parikrama Marg is in progress. This gate is being built near Hanuman cave, the main religious place of Ayodhya and its construction is being done by the Ayodhya Development Authority. About 60 percent of this entrance being built at a cost of Rs 1.89 crore has been completed.
Religious faith and cultural heritage will get a new dimension
‘Tilak entrance gate’ is not only a architectural structure, but it will also be a symbol of the rich religious tradition, spiritual identity and cultural dignity of Ayodhya. The Panchkosi Parikrama, which is an important religious tradition of Ayodhya, will provide both spiritual experience and grandeur of entry for the devotees who join it. This gate is being designed in such a way that it presents a beautiful confluence of classical architecture, temple style and modern techniques. Religious symbols, Ramayana era inspirations and traditional crafts are being given prominence in construction.
Beautification and attraction will be the center of attraction
Tilak entrance will give Ayodhya a new identity not only from religious terms, but also in terms of tourism and beautification. Gorgeous fasting, lighting, pillars adorned with craftsmanship, carving stones and greenery and decorations around this gate are also being done. Taking special care of quality in construction work, efforts are being made that this gate becomes a major attraction center of Ayodhya. Regarding this project, Ayodhya Development Authority Vice President Ashwin Pandey said “Tilak Entrance Gate” will not only give a new height to the religious dignity of Ayodhya, but it will be unique from a historical and architectural point of view. This gate of reception of devotees and tourists can become a memorable experience, for this, special attention is being paid to beautification and grandeur with high quality. It is our endeavor that the construction work can be completed in a timely manner and dedicated it to the public till the upcoming religious events.
Chief Minister’s vision is to make Ayodhya a global religious tourist center
Many schemes are being run by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to develop Ayodhya as a global religious tourist center. These include redevelopment of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi region, faith path, devotional path, public convenience center, digital indicators, river front development, revival of ghats and better access to major temples. The construction of ‘Tilak Entrance Gate’ in this sequence is also an important milestone. This door will give the devotees coming to Ayodhya a spiritual emotion and grandeur.

Construction work will be completed soon
Construction work is going on fast and officials aim to inaugurate the gate in the next few months. After this, this gate will emerge as a new landmark for millions of devotees and tourists coming on Panchkosi route.
