The Lieutenant Governor has taken an important decision after improving the pollution level in New Delhi. Actually, the timing of the offices associated with the government and MCD officials has been changed.
Let us know that the capital of the country was in a bad state of pollution till a few months ago. After the change in weather and some tough decisions, the situation has now improved. In such a situation, changes have been made by the Lieutenant Governor in the duty timing of government offices.
Delhi government officials, who used to work first from 10 am to 6:30 pm, will now come at 9:30 am and will finish their work at 6 pm.
The MCD officer, who used to work earlier from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, will now start work at 9:00 am and finish his work at 5:30 pm.
Earlier on Monday, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena ordered a comprehensive magistrate inquiry into the building collapse in Dayalpur area of Mustafabad area, in which 11 people were killed and many others were injured.
This tragic incident took place on the morning of 19 April in the street number 1, D-26 of the unauthorized colony Shakti Vihar in North-East Delhi. The nearly 20 -year -old building collapsed when the people living there were sleeping.
In his statement released on Monday, Raj Niwas said, “The District Magistrate of North East Delhi has been entrusted with the responsibility of this investigation and he has been asked to submit a detailed report within 15 days.”
Investigations will investigate the circumstances around the building of the building collapse, all relevant facts will be investigated and any lapse or omission will be identified in this disaster. The investigation will also make efforts to make the people and institutions involved in the construction and care of the building accountable.
After this incident, which took place on the morning of April 19, 2025, various emergency services had to be given immediate and coordinated response. Officers continue to assess the structural security of nearby buildings to prevent further events.
