Kolkata. When the violence took place in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, there was a social media post drinking tea from TMC MP and former cricketer Yusuf Pathan of Bahrampur. Due to that post, Yusuf Pathan came on target from common users to BJP. Now TMC leaders are seen angry with Yusuf Pathan. Murshidabad MP Abu Tahir said from the English newspaper The Indian Express that Yusuf Pathan kept a distance on the issue of violence and his absence is giving wrong messages. The TMC MP said that Yusuf Pathan is an outsider and new in politics. The TMC MP said that party MPs, MLAs and booth level workers are also reaching among the violence affected people. No one can say that this is not my area and I will not go.
Actually, there has been no violence from Bahrampur where Yusuf Pathan is a TMC MP. In such a situation, Yusuf Pathan has not yet said a word in the case of violence. On this issue, TMC MLA from Bharatpur in West Bengal, Humayun Kabir told the newspaper that if Yusuf Pathan did not increase politics in politics, he will tell the TMC leadership not to give him a ticket next time. Humayun Kabir said that if Yusuf Pathan does not change and does not try to reach the common people, then he will contact the TMC leadership against him. In view of the way the voice is being raised against Yusuf Pathan in TMC, it seems that the party’s supremo and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will definitely talk to him on this issue.
The photo of Yusuf Pathan drinking tea came on Instagram on 12 April. Yusuf Pathan posted this photo and wrote- Casual afternoon. Tea sip, peace. I am drowning now. Let me tell you that when TMC gave Yusuf Pathan a ticket for the Lok Sabha election from Bahrampur, then the BJP tried to create an atmosphere against him by accusing him of being an outsider. This was not affected and Yusuf Pathan defeated Congress Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, who has been an MP from Bahrampur for a long time, won TMC there.
