New Delhi. Now you will have to spend more money to get treatment in government hospitals of Karnataka. The Congress government of the state has increased all types of fees in all government hospitals, from registration to blood test. Siddaramaiah government has issued a circular in this regard and the increase in fees has been implemented with immediate effect. In this regard, Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao argued that this is not a burden on the people. Prices decided a long time ago cannot be compared with today’s. At the same time, BJP has cornered the Karnataka government in this matter and held its guarantees responsible for it.

How much has the fee for what increased?

Registration fee in OPD has been increased from Rs 10 to Rs 20. Inpatient admission charge has been increased from Rs 25 to Rs 50. General ward fees have been increased from Rs 15 to Rs 20. The fee for blood test has been increased from Rs 70 to Rs 120. Ward charges have been increased from Rs 25 to Rs 50. At the same time, the fee for special ward has been increased from Rs 750 to Rs 1,000. Whereas the fee for single bed special ward has been increased from Rs 750 to Rs 2,000. The hospital’s waste management fee has been increased from Rs 10 to Rs 50.

In this matter, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said that this is another example of Congress’s ‘Khatkhat’ model. The model of Karnataka government is of loot and lies. Give false guarantees to the public and loot them by increasing taxes. After completely destroying Himachal Pradesh, now the people of Karnataka are having to bear the brunt. Jizya tax is being imposed by Congress.
