Mandya: There was anger among the people due to the death of a 4 -year -old girl in a road accident during a traffic police investigation on Monday in Mandya, Karnataka. Police gave this information. Police said a large number of people protested, holding the traffic police responsible for the incident, after which three ASI (Assistant Sub -Inspector) were suspended.

According to the police, Hrithikasha was bitten by a dog in his village in Maddur taluka, after which his parents were taking him to a two-wheeler to a hospital in Mandya city on a two-wheeler for treatment. Mandya Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baldandi said the incident occurred when the couple going to the hospital was stopped by the traffic police for not wearing a helmet.
Girl falling from bike, truck coming from behind crushed
According to the official, when asked, the couple said that their daughter was bitten by the dog and they are taking her to the hospital for treatment. The traffic police then released the motorcycle. Meanwhile, another vehicle hit the motorcycle, after which the girl fell from the motorcycle and was crushed by a truck coming from behind. Police said that the girl suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot due to excessive bleeding. According to the police, a case has been registered in connection with the incident. “We have suspended three ASIs in connection with the incident,” police said.
Outrage and protests
After the incident, the girl’s parents and others demonstrated the body and demanded justice. The protest led to a jam on the road. The police assured action against the policemen concerned for ‘negligence’, after which the jam opened. (With language inputs)
