New Delhi. US President Donald Trump has decided to impose reciperook tariffs on all countries from 2 April 2025. India is also in these countries. All things are exported to America from India. Due to Trump’s reciprocal tariff, the Indian companies that make these things can be difficult. However, there is also industries, which may not have much impact of Trump’s tariff on things. The reciperochl tariff announced by Donald Trump is going to be implemented on India in the early hours of April 3.
Earlier we know which products of India are exported to America and which will not have much effect on Trump’s tariff. Such goods are minerals, petroleum products, ore and textile industries. India exports $ 3.33 billion minerals, petroleum products and ore to the US from India. America already puts more tariffs on all this. At the same time, about 5 billion dollars stitched clothes are also sent to America from India. The effect of Trump’s tariff on this sector is also going to be minimal.
The products that will have the most impact of Trump’s tariff are auto sector. India takes 23 percent more tariffs than tariffs in the US in this sector. Similarly, India takes 13 percent more tariffs on diamonds, gold and jewelery imported from America. In such a situation, America will also take the same tariff on auto parts, diamonds, gold and jewelery imported from India. Apart from this, America will also take more tariffs on chemicals and things made of medicine, plastic, machine, computer, iron and steel sent from India to America. Because when India asks for all these goods from America, it takes more tariffs on it. Earlier, the newspaper Hindustan Times had reported that the Modi government will now assess how much the Tarmp’s tariff is affecting the area. According to that, further strategy will be decided. India can also expand its market in other countries if needed. These include countries of Europe, Canada and Arab countries.
