New Delhi. A Turkish company from Kanpur has come to light in India between Turkish Boycott. The Turkish company Gulerk, engaged in the construction of Kanpur Metro, is accused of running away with a dues of Rs 80 crore from the contractors. The lock is hung in the company’s Kanpur office, even the money of the salary of the guards present there owes the company. Contractors say that the company officials are no longer picking up their phone, nor has any kind of response from the company. In this case, the victim contractors have demanded action by giving a complaint letter to Kanpur DM.
A contractor showed the letter of the Gulerk Company, saying that his officials had said to release the payment only after giving a discount of 30 to 40 percent, but now they have no idea. According to the contractors, the payment was delayed after the protest against him across the country over the role of Türkiye in the fight between India and Pakistan. There are about 40 contractors whose money is trapped in the company. The company got the work done and made small payments by keeping the large amount pending. Explain that the construction of Chuniganj, Bada Square, Naveen Market and Nayaganj on the Metro route of the second face in Kanpur was given to Turkish company Gulerk and its associate Sem India. Construction of the four stations has been completed and on May 30, Modi is going to inaugurate the metro on this route.
On the other hand, according to Aaj Tak, the billing manager of the Gulerk Company Hatish Ari says that the UP Metro Rail Corporation has not paid more than 35 crores of the company, if UPMRC pays, then the company will pay the dues of contractors. On the other hand, Joint General Manager of UPMRC (Public Relations) Panchanan Mishra said that after taking the above four stations under their own, the metro has been fully paid to the Guler Company.
