New Delhi. Sometimes some unexpected events happen which we never thought could happen. A similar incident happened in Haridwar jail. Ramlila was being staged here in which prisoners were also acting on the stage dressed as characters of Ramayana. During this time, when two prisoners disguised as monkeys who had set out in search of Mother Sita did not return for a long time, a search was started for them. Later it was revealed that both of them took advantage of the opportunity and escaped by jumping over the prison wall. The police are now searching for those two prisoners. Now anyone who comes to know about this incident is laughing at it. At the same time, the jail administration is also being disgraced.

Haridwar District Magistrate Karmendra Singh said that one of the absconding prisoners, Pankaj, a resident of Roorkee, will be convicted under section 302 (murder) of the IPC and the other prisoner Ramkumar, a resident of Gonda, will be convicted under section 302 (murder) of the IPC. He is under consideration on extortion charges. Construction work was going on in the jail and Ramlila was also being organized here, taking advantage of this both the prisoners escaped from the jail by using the stairs. This is definitely negligence of the jail administration. FIR has been registered, apart from this departmental inquiry and magisterial inquiry will also be conducted.

At the same time, Haridwar SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal said that this morning we received information through the control room that two prisoners, one of whom is convicted and the other is under trial, have escaped from the jail by climbing the stairs. The jail administration was initially investigating it. When the district administration got the information, we started searching and investigating everywhere. He will be arrested soon.
