New Delhi. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray met in the room of the Legislative Council Chairman Ram Shinde today. A meeting of about 20 minutes ran between the two leaders. Uddhav’s son Aditya Thackeray was also present during this period. Although no information has been made public about what happened between Fadnavis and Uddhav, but due to the meeting of these two leaders, political stir started in Maharashtra. CM Devendra Fadnavis yesterday offered Uddhav Thackeray to leave the opposition in the assembly yesterday to come and come towards the ruling party.
However, Uddhav said yesterday on the offer of Fadnavis that it is a matter of joking, so it should be taken jokingly. Now on the very next day of that offer of CM Fadnavis, there are speculations about the meeting of the two leaders. There is also a possibility that Uddhav is really planning to accept Fadnavis’ offer. However, media sources say that in today’s meeting, some important issues like Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, three linguistic formula were discussed between CM Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray.
Let us tell you that after the 2019 assembly elections in Maharashtra, there was a difference of opinion between BJP and Shiv Sena over the post of Chief Minister. Uddhav himself wanted to become CM, due to which the alliance of both parties broke. After this, Uddhav formed the government through the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance of the Congress. However, Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde broke the party in 2022 and due to which Uddhav’s government fell. Shinde then formed his Shiv Sena and became the Chief Minister with the support of BJP and Ajit Pawar -led NCP.
