Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat gave information about the inclusion of Bhagavad Gita and Natyashastra in UNESCO UNESCO ‘Memory of the World Register’. PM Modi wrote the above things while reposting his tweet. Shekhawat wrote in his post, a historic moment for the civilian heritage of India. Along with this, now 14 records of our country have joined this international register. The Natyashastra of Srimad Bhagavadgita and Bharat Muni is now mentioned in the Memory of the World Register of UNESCO. This is a global honor of India’s eternal knowledge and artistic talent. Shekhawat said, these timeless compositions are more than the literary treasury-these are the philosophical and aesthetic foundation that has shaped the world attitude of India and our way of thinking, feeling, living and expressing.
A total of 74 new collections were included in UNESCO’s ‘Memory of the World Register’, thus the total number of recorded collections increased to 570. The Rigveda, Tawang scripture of India, the desired works of Sant Tukaram have already got a place in the ‘Memory of the World Register’. UNESCO recognized the Rigveda as a global heritage in 2007, saying that besides being a religious and spiritual book, it is also an invaluable document of the early thinking, language, philosophy and cultural structure of human civilization.
