New Delhi. On the first day of the budget session in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, there was a strong debate between the ruling party and the opposition about Urdu, English, Bhojpuri, Awadhi languages. Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey raised the demand for a floor language of Urdu language instead of English, and accused of imposing English. On this, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, Socialists send their children to English medium school and advise the children of others to study in the village government school where there are no resources.

Yogi Adityanath said, various dialects of Uttar Pradesh Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Braj and Bundelkhandi are getting respect in this House. Our government is also carrying forward the process of creating separate academy for all these languages. All these languages are sub -languages of Hindi i.e. Hindi daughters. We should welcome it that this house is not only for pure literary and grammar scholars. Rather, members representing the common people have come from various sections of the society. The voice of the person sitting on the last rung should also be vigor in this house. For this, if no one can speak fluently in Hindi, then he should also get the right to speak in Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Braj or Bundelkhandi language.
CM said, what happened that no one speaks Bhojpuri or Awadhi. He targeted the Leader of Opposition and said, are you advocating Urdu? CM said, this is a very strange thing. The character of socialists has become so double that they will send their children to public school with English media and will advise the children of others to study in the village government schools where there are no resources. This is the double behavior of these people.
