According to the information, Yogi Adityanath had held a meeting with UP BJP President Bhupendra Chaudhary and other leaders in the context of by-elections for 10 assembly seats of UP. In this meeting, names of 3 candidates were decided. Now the final candidates will be selected from the list of these candidates in the meeting in Delhi. According to BJP sources, BJP will also give share to its allies out of 10 seats. Out of the 10 assembly seats of UP for which by-elections are to be held, 5 Sisamau, Katehari, Kundarki, Karhal and Milkipur were won by SP. Nishad Party also won 1 seat. The remaining seats were with BJP. Now the contest between BJP and Samajwadi Party is about who wins 10 seats.
Samajwadi Party had performed tremendously in UP in the Lok Sabha elections. Samajwadi Party had won 37 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP. At the same time, BJP had won only 33 seats. Now BJP would definitely like to break the credibility of Samajwadi Party by winning all 10 seats in the by-elections. At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party would also like to prove by winning all these seats that the people are not liking BJP in UP.
