New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh Education Minister Gulab Devi has been injured in a road accident. Education Minister Gulab Devi was going from Delhi to Bijnor when the accident occurred on National Highway-9 in Pilkhuwa Kotwali area of Hapur. A vehicle suddenly applied a brake near the Chhejarasi toll plaza, due to which the vehicles posted under the protection of the minister also had to break a sudden brake. The driver of the minister’s car could not apply a brake on time, due to which his car collided with another car. Minister Gulab Devi has been taken to Rama Hospital in Hapur for treatment. It has been learned that he has suffered an injury to his head.

Hapur officials reached the spot as soon as the incident was received. At present, it is not confirmed how serious the injury to the minister is. Gulab Devi’s car has been damaged much more than further. Gulab Devi is a five -time MLA from Chandausi assembly seat in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. In the Yogi government, she is holding responsibility as Minister of State for Secondary Education (Independent Charge). Gulab Devi, coming from the scheduled caste category, started her career as a teacher of political science at Kanya Inter College in Chandausi. Later, she was also the principal of this inter college.

He then started a political innings. Gulab Devi contested for the first time in 1991 from Chandausi assembly seat in which she won. After this, he contested and won four consecutive times from this seat. She was elected MLA for the second time in 1996, the third time in 2002, the fourth time in 2017 and the fifth time in the 2022 assembly elections. Gulab Devi also got an opportunity to take over the responsibility of UP BJP Vice President. She held this post from 2008 to 2012.
