Lucknow. UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the results of the examination conducted for the recruitment of more than 60000 constables on its website. These results can be seen on uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates 2.5 times the number of posts in the examination have been declared passed. A total of 174316 candidates have passed the constable recruitment examination of UP Police. Out of these, the final selection will be made and for this, the passed candidates will then have to go through a rigorous examination. Only after passing it, the candidate will be able to get a job in UP Police.
About 32 lakh candidates appeared in the written examination for constable recruitment of UP Police. It can be understood from the number of candidates passing that the written examination was not easy. Now the candidates who have passed the UP Police constable recruitment written examination will now have to appear for the physical test. After passing this, their medical will be done. Candidates who pass the physical test and medical will be given further training and then deployed in different districts. Apart from men, physical and medical will also be done for female candidates. After this the final merit list will be prepared.
In the physical test, height and chest measurement of only male candidates will be taken. Apart from this, running, high jump, long jump, throwing the ball to a fixed distance etc. are also included in the physical test. Female candidates have to appear for a lesser test than male candidates. That is, the standards of the test are kept different for women passing the constable recruitment exam of UP Police and they are lower than men.
