New Delhi. On Friday, candidates created a ruckus in Patna’s Bapu Auditorium over the fear of paper leak in the Bihar Public Service Commission examination. Students protested after complaining of irregularities in the examination. During this time, Patna DM Dr Chandrashekhar Singh arrived to convince the students, but the situation worsened. It is alleged that the angry DM slapped a student. This video of DM is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
DM told the status of the examination center
Patna DM Dr Chandrashekhar Singh, while clarifying the situation on irregularities in the examination, said that arrangements were made for about 12,000 candidates at the examination center located at Bapu Auditorium. There was a seating plan of 273 candidates in one examination hall. According to this, there should have been 288 question paper packets in one room, but only 192 question papers were available there. To bridge this gap, question papers were sent from one hall to another, on which students objected.

assured to give extra time
DM said that due to this problem there was a delay of 10 to 15 minutes. The superintendent of the examination center tried to convince the students and said that due to the delay they would be given extra time. Despite this, about 100 to 150 students boycotted the examination and started creating ruckus outside, while the rest of the candidates completed the examination peacefully.
200 students created ruckus
According to the DM, out of 12,000 candidates, around 11,000 appeared for the exam. Only 150 to 200 students protested against paper leak and shortage of question paper. The DM said that the main objection of the students was why the box of open question papers was brought to the examination centre. However, additional time was given to resolve the delay problem.
