Earlier, opposition parties in Punjab had opposed Manish Sisodia’s visit to schools. He said that the Delhi model of the Aam Aadmi Party has failed. Opposition parties had also raised the question that Manish Sisodia is visiting the schools of Punjab under what right. Manish Sisodia recently came to Punjab. He then visited several schools with Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. According to media reports, Manish Sisodia also visited the schools of Tarn Taran, Mohali and Gurdaspur in Punjab and instructed the officers. The Punjab government did not give any official information about this visit of Sisodia. Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Wading had said that Sisodia can give advice to the education minister of Punjab by sitting in the room. He had said that if Manish Sisodia has to visit schools, then he should be resigned from Harjot Singh Bains and made him an education minister.
Actually, when Manish Sisodia was the deputy CM of Delhi, he also had the Department of Education. The Aam Aadmi Party claims that a lot of work was done while Manish Sisodia’s education minister. Schools were built and the level of education in government schools in Delhi also improved. Whereas, opposition parties, including BJP, have been alleging that Delhi’s education model is just a show and the education system in Delhi has been destroyed in the Aam Aadmi Party government.
