A shocking incident has come to light from the Barasuar Panchayat in Jajpur district of Odisha. Where a woman sold her own 7 -year -old son for just 18 thousand rupees. The matter came to light when the child’s father and his family pleaded for help from the administration.

Wife had gone to her maternal home

According to the information, this case is from Totasahi village, which comes in Jajpur Town police station area. The victim’s father Prashant Parida said that there was a long dispute with his wife Pooja Parida. Four years ago, Pooja went to her maternal home with her three -year -old son Sairam. There was no contact for so many years.

Wife herself confessed son sold for 18 thousand

Recently Pooja suddenly returned, but she did not have a son. When Prashant asked about the son, Pooja told that she had sold the child. First he said that the child was sold for 20 thousand rupees, then later said that the deal was done in 18 thousand.

Many years ago, daughter-in-law quarreled at home- Prashant’s mother

Prashant’s mother also confirmed this and said that three -four years ago, the daughter -in -law quarreled in the house. He killed and left home threatening to hurt the son. While leaving, she went with 17 thousand rupees and broke the phone so that no contact could be made.

Complaint in writing to District Collector

Prashant, who wash the utensils in the hotel, is now pleading for help from the administration to get his son back. He has complained to the District Collector in writing. She told that Pooja also said that she sold the child for the purpose of raising money for medicines. But when she repeatedly asked about the son, Pooja refused to say anything and then escaped.

Police engaged in investigation

At the moment it is not clear who has the child and where is it? The woman who sold the child, has not yet been identified. The police is investigating the case and the family is hoping for the child’s successful return. This incident has become a topic of discussion in the entire area and people are very hurt by this act of mother.
