Patna. Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha has said that he will reply to the notice sent by the Election Commission. Vijay Sinha said on Monday that he respects the Election Commission and two voter ID cards will definitely be replied. RJD leader and Leader of Bihar Leader of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav claimed to have a press conference on Sunday about Vijay Kumar Sinha’s two voter IDs. After which the State Election Commission sent a notice to Vijay Sinha and sought a reply by 14 August.

Tejashwi Yadav had said that Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha has two voter ID cards. Tejashwi Yadav had said that one voter ID card of Vijay Sinha is from Patna and the other is from Lakhisarai. On this, Vijay Kumar Sinha had said that he had already written to the Election Commission that the voter ID card made at Patna’s address should be canceled. When the Election Commission released the draft voter list for Bihar, they have once again called the BLO and applied to cancel the Voter ID of Patna. Vijay Sinha also made public applications to cancel the voter ID both times.
Earlier, the Election Commission had sent a notice to Tejashwi Yadav and asked to submit its second voter ID card by the evening of August 16. In fact, on August 1, Tejashwi Yadav alleged that his EPIC EPIC number is not in the draft voter list. On this, the Election Commission had told that Tejashwi Yadav has another EPIC number. Which he has also used to contest the Bihar assembly elections in 2020. The Election Commission has said that it does not have any record of releasing the second EPIC number in the name of Tejashwi. The Election Commission suspects that the EPIC number told by Tejashwi Yadav may be fake. Now that Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha has said that he will reply to the Election Commission notice, surely there has been pressure on Tejashwi Yadav to reply in the matter of having two EPIC numbers.
