Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri informed a parliamentary committee on Monday on the Indo-Pakistan military conflict after the Pahalgam terror attack. Abhishek Banerjee of Trinamool Congress, Rajiv Shukla of Congress, Rajiv Shukla and Deepender Hooda, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Aparajita Sarangi and Arun Govil of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) participated in the meeting of Trinamool Congress on Foreign Affairs under the chairmanship of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor.
Information given about diplomatic relations with Islamabad
The panel has been informed by the Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on various issues. This included the current status of diplomatic relations with Islamabad, across the border security challenges and regional stability.
Ceasefire between Indo-Pak on May 10
The meeting is being held by the Indian Armed Forces starting the ‘Operation Sindoor’ to avenge the Pahalgam attack by the Indian Armed Forces and then in the backdrop of the military conflict between the two countries. India and Pakistan agreed to stop military action on 10 May.
All -party delegation will go to 33 countries of the world
Foreign Secretary Misri will inform the panel on the current foreign policy developments in relation to India and Pakistan on Monday and Tuesday. In the backdrop of ‘Operation Sindoor’, the government has decided to send an all -party delegation to 33 countries to inform the global leaders about India’s resolution to deal with strict deal against terrorism.
