Vinesh Phogat Reached Shambhu Border: On completion of 200 days of farmers' movement, Vinesh Phogat reached Shambhu border, made a request to the government

New Delhi. On the completion of 200 days of the farmers’ movement on the Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana, wrestler Vinesh Phogat also reached the protest site in support of the farmers today. During this, Vinesh requested the government to listen to the farmers. She said that the government should show a big heart in this matter, if people keep sitting on the roads like this, the progress of the country will be hampered. After reaching the Shambhu border, Vinesh said that it has been 200 days since the farmers have been sitting. It is sad to see this. All of them are citizens of this country.

Vinesh said that farmers run the country. Nothing is possible without them, not even us players because we all eat the food grown by the farmers. Many times we feel helpless that we represent the country at such a big level, but we are unable to do anything for our family even after seeing them sad. I request the government to listen to them. The government should fulfill its promises. Vinesh said that even though it has been 200 days since the farmers have been sitting here, their morale is the same. Seeing the enthusiasm of the farmers, it seems that today is the first day of the movement. Seeing the farmers, we also got the courage for our movement.

Earlier this morning, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher had said through a video that I am speaking from the stage of Shambhu Morcha. All preparations are underway for the completion of 200 days. Lakhs of farmers will gather here and at Khanauri and other borders. Our demand from the central government is that this route should be opened and we should be allowed to go to Delhi, where we can peacefully demand legal guarantee of MSP as well as other demands.
