New Delhi. The violence in Murshidabad in West Bengal is not taking the name of stopping the violence in protest against the Waqf Amendment Act. A violent mob killed a father and son today. In the afternoon, fiery people attacked a village in Shamsherganj, after which the blood-blooded bodies of the father and son were found from a house. There are marks of injuries on his body, which can be guessed how brutally they were killed. The situation in the area remains tense and BSF has been deployed.
On the other hand, BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari has filed a petition in the Kolkata High Court for the deployment of central forces there in view of the situation in Murshidabad. A day earlier, violence erupted in Murshidabad after the prayers of Jumme on Friday. Several trains including police vans were set on fire by the protesters. The police team was also stoned in which some policemen were injured. The situation was controlled by the policemen after hard work. The protesters also damaged public properties by targeting railway stations.
After the violence, Murshidabad was later implemented Section 163 which is still going on, as well as mobile internet is also closed. On the other hand, the police have arrested 118 people so far in the violence case that erupted yesterday and the search for others is going on. Explain that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee issued a statement shortly before and told the people that the Waqf Amendment Act will not implement the state. With this, he also appealed not to commit violence and maintain peace and targeted the Center. He alleged that some political parties are misusing religion for their benefit.
