Ayodhya Ram Temple
Ayodhya: Security has been tightened in Ayodhya regarding Ram Navami and at the same time arrangements have been made to make traffic smooth. Inspector General of Police (IG) Ayodhya Range Praveen Kumar said that Ayodhya has been divided into different zones and sectors regarding security and traffic. He said that heavy vehicles will be sent by Purvanchal Expressway to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the devotees. PAC (Territorial Armed Constable Constable) and paramilitary forces will be deployed for security.
Cancelled VIP pass
He said that water police, NDRF and SDRF have been kept on alert around the Saryu river. All special passes will be canceled from 9 am to 12 noon to see Ramlala in Ram temple and priority will be given to common devotees. Mandalayukta Gaurav Dayal of Ayodhya said that to protect the devotees from the heat and sunlight, the devotees who do not have any kind of trouble on Ramnavami, have been arranged for shadow and mats at major sites including Ram temple and Hanumangarhi.
Special arrangement has been made
Dayal said that cold drinking water will be available at all major sites. ORS solution has been arranged at all temporary health centers in the fair area due to the heat. The Health Department has set up temporary primary health centers at 14 places, in which sufficient number of doctors are appointed. Additionally, 108 ambulances are available at about seven places for immediate use in emergency.
Preparations have been made for a grand festival on Ramnavami and on this occasion, devotees will be sprayed with Saryu water through drones. The Ram Mandir Trust has also decided to extend the duration of darshan in view of the increasing number of devotees.
