Waqf Amendment Bill passed in Lok Sabha.
The Waqf Amendment Act has been passed in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Please tell that Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju presented this bill in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. There was a whole day between the ruling party and the opposition regarding this bill. The Lok Sabha proceedings over the debate on the bill were also carried forward. Late night, voting was done on the Waqf Amendment Act and the bill was passed.
How many votes in side and opposition?
In the final voting for passing the Waqf Amendment Act in the Lok Sabha, the bill has a total of 288 votes in favor. At the same time, 232 votes were cast in the opposition of the bill. Along with this, all the amendments of the opposition have been rejected. Now this bill will go to the Rajya Sabha where it will be discussed and then voting will be done to get it passed.
Owaisi torn a copy of the bill
On the Waqf Amendment Bill case, AIMIM party chief Asaduddin Owaisi in the Lok Sabha said- “The law of Waqf al-Aulad is the Villation of Article 25. It is also to tear it down by Mahatma Gandhi to the South Africa law. After this, Asaduddin Owaisi tore a copy of the Constitution Amendment Bill.

Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) President and BJP MP Jagdambika Pal said during the ongoing debate in the Lok Sabha on the Waqf Amendment Bill, “Asaduddin Owaisi calls this bill unconstitutional, but he has done unconstitutional work by tearing the bill. I want to ask him why the bill is tore?”
