New Delhi: There has been heavy rain at different places in the northeastern states during the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there has been heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland and Meghalaya during the next 24 hours.

There will be torrential rain till October 5

Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been predicted over northeastern states like Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from October 2 to 6. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh from 2 to 5 October and in Assam and Meghalaya. Heavy rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep and South Interior Karnataka between October 2 and 5.

How will the weather be in Bihar?



According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of heavy rain in the next few days in flood-stricken Bihar. Light rain may occur in Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Darbhanga, Gopalganj, Saran, Siwan, Kishanganj, Munger, Araria and Supaul. Along with floods in Bihar, people are now troubled by the humid heat.


How will the weather be in Delhi?

The weather remains dry in Delhi-NCR. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear sky during the day and the maximum temperature will be around 35 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded in Delhi on Tuesday was 26.4 degrees Celsius, which is 2.9 degrees more than the normal temperature of this season.


How will the weather be in the month of October?

Except for some states of the country, the weather remains dry in the rest of the parts. The maximum temperature in most parts of the country in October is expected to be above normal. According to IMD Director General Mrityunjay Mohapatra, there is a possibility of above normal rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Kerala and South Interior Karnataka. At the same time, more than normal rainfall is expected in some areas of Central India and North-East India. More than normal rainfall is expected in many parts of the country during October.

Monsoon is now bidding farewell

According to the Meteorological Department, in the next 2-3 days, southwest monsoon will gradually withdraw from Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and parts of Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh.
