The Meteorological Department has warned of very heavy rains at many places, especially in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh till December 19. It is quite cold after snowfall in the mountains, but at present the sun is rising every day in North India. People are relieved due to sunshine. However, due to lack of sunlight in the coming days, it will be extremely cold. Dense fog is also occurring at many places.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Punjab and Haryana can reach 4 to 8 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of cold wave for both the states. The Meteorological Department has said that the maximum temperature in Punjab and Haryana will be around 22 degrees. Being close to Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana are very cold and foggy. The Meteorological Department has warned of cold wave for all areas of Rajasthan. The temperature in Mount Abu in Rajasthan is quite low. The temperature has also dropped in Churu. It is getting quite cold in other places also.

The cold is going to increase continuously in UP’s neighboring state Bihar also. Cold wave alert has been issued at many places in Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Bihar can go up to 5 to 6 degrees Celsius. Apart from Bihar’s neighboring state Jharkhand, the Meteorological Department has also informed about the continuous increase in cold in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
