New Delhi. The Meteorological Department has again issued a forecast. According to the Meteorological Department estimates, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh will have snowfall till March 16. There is also a possibility of heavy rains in many places in these states. Apart from this, there may be rain in Haryana, Punjab, Western UP, Eastern UP and Rajasthan by 15 March. On the day of Holi i.e. March 14, the Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms in Delhi and NCR areas with thunderstorms. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also estimated rain in many places in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh till yesterday.

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura in the Northeast by 16 March. The Meteorological Department has also said that people in Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa facing strong heat and heat due to rain in north-west India. The rest of the country is expected to remain dry. This period of snowfall and rain in the above states is going to be due to fresh western disturbances. After this, there is a possibility of heat and faster everywhere.

The Meteorological Department had already said that it would be hot from late February or first week of March, but this did not happen due to fresh western disturbances. Now due to snowfall in the hilly states including Jammu and Kashmir, the process of hot heat is expected to start a few days later. The Meteorological Department has also estimated that there will be a lot of heat this year. At the same time, after this, rain is also expected to be enough. Last year too, after the scorching heat, there was more rainfall than the average due to the La Nina effect. The Meteorological Department had said that there will be a cold cold from December 2024. However, this time people had to face the harsh cold for a few days.
