According to the Meteorological Department, another western disturbance can be active on 29 and 30 January. This will cause rain and snowfall in the hilly areas. At the same time, this fresh western disturbance will also be affected in the plains. According to the Meteorological Department, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may once again have fierce snow and rain at the end of this month. At the same time, light to moderate rain may occur in many places in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, UP.
The Meteorological Department estimates that cold wave may return to many parts of Punjab. The temperature in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh remains below zero. The minimum temperature in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand ranges from 1 to 5 degrees. Talking about the plains, the minimum temperature in Amritsar was recorded at 5.2 degrees Celsius. Whereas, the minimum temperature in other states of the plains remains from 5 to 10 degrees.
