shot by three attackers
Senior NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead by three assailants in Bandra area. While his son Zeeshan Siddiqui was coming out of his office in Bandra, three masked attackers started firing at him. In the incident, two bullets hit Siddiqui on his stomach and one on his chest. One bullet hit the leg of the person present with Siddiqui, while two bullets also hit Siddiqui’s car.
The body was taken to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.
After this Baba Siddiqui was immediately admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where he died during treatment. Baba Siddiqui’s body has been brought from Lilavati Hospital to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.
The attackers are residents of UP and Haryana.
Karnail Singh, one of the two accused arrested in this case, is a resident of Haryana. The second is Dharamraj Kashyap who is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. The team of Mumbai Crime Branch has interrogated these two attackers the whole night.
Search continues for third attacker
The team has collected evidence after reaching the incident site. Police have so far detained two suspects in the shooting. The interrogation continued throughout the night while the search for the third attacker continues.
