Indian -origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams has gone to the international space station twice before, but hardly she would have imagined that she would have to wait long to return after going into space for the third time and the event will be recorded in the pages of history. NASA’s astronauts Buch Wilmore and Sunita Williams recently returned to Earth after 9 months in space.

Sunita was asked what India looks like from space, so she replied, “Amazing, absolutely amazing.” He said, “India is amazing. Whenever we passed over the Himalayas, Buch (Buch Wilmore is his fellow astronaut) received incredible pictures, this is absolutely surprising. It seemed as if a wave had arisen and flowing into India. The colors of the earth were seen further in Gujarat and Mumbai.

During this time Sunita Williams described India as a great country and a magnificent democracy. Appreciated India’s progress in space exploration and expressed his desire to support its efforts.
