The JN.1 variant can spread faster as this variant has mutation in spike protein. JN.1 variants show symptoms like sore throat, nasal water, mild fever, fatigue and cough. In some cases it has also been seen that the taste of the food or the power to smell goes away. It is being told that this variant who has got vaccine can also infect them.

It is a matter of relief that the JN.1 variant is similar to the old variants of Omikron and the risk of serious illness is very low. Most people infected with this have seen mild symptoms.
