What does Kalma mean?
Kalma is an Arabic word and has great importance inside Islam. This is a kind of religious declaration, which means promise or oath. This is the sacred sentence that expresses the faith of a person in Islam. By reading and believing it, a person accepts Islam.
It is the first and most important part of the five pillars of Islam. The five columns of Islam are Kalma, Namaz, Roja, Zakat and Haj. Kalma is the basis of Islam, which accepts the pagambari of aism and Prophet Muhammad (Sall.). It is a symbol of faith for every Muslim.
Total Kalma is 6, which means as such:
1- Kalma Tayyab- La Elala Illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah
(“No worship (God) except Allah, and Muhammad is the Rasul (messenger) of Allah.”)
2- Kalma Shahadat- Ashhdu Alla Ilaha Illallahu Wahdhu La Sharika Lahu, And Ashhdu Anna Muhammadan Abduhu and Rasuluhu
(“I testify that there is no revered (God) except Allah, he is alone, he has no partner, and I testify that Muhammad (Sall.) Is his prisoner and Rasul.”
3- Kalma Tamjid- Subhanallahi Valhamdu Lilah Vala Ilalahu Vallahu Vallahu Akbar
(“Allah is pure, all praise is for Allah, no revered (God) except Allah, and Allah is the greatest.”)
4- Kalma Tauheed- La Ilaha Illallahu Wahdhu La Sharika Lahu, Lhul Mulku and Lahul Hamdu, Yuhyi and Yumitu and Huyun La Yamutu, Biydihil Khairu, and Hu and Ala Kulli Shayin Kadir
(“No revered (God) except Allah, he is alone, he has no partner, he has a kingdom, he is praised, he gives life and gives death, and he himself is alive, who never dies, he has all the good in his hand, and he holds nature on everything.”
5- Kalma Istigfar- Astagfirullah Rabbi Min Kulli Zambin and Atubu Ilaihi
(“I apologize for every crime from my Lord (Allah) and repent towards him.”)
6- Kalma cancellation-e-kuffra- Allahumma ini auzu bika min un ushrika bika shiyan and an almam, and astagfiruka lima la alum
(“O Allah! I ask for your shelter that I will deliberately make someone partner with you, and I apologize to you (crime) that I do not know.”)
What happened in Pahalgam?
In Pahalgam, around 2.50 pm, the terrorists landed down from the surrounding hills. They put women and children aside and made men aside.
