Vanatara has been started on the initiative of Anant Ambani, the younger son of veteran industrialist Mukesh Ambani. It has been built in an area of ​​3 thousand acres in Jamnagar district. Wildlife of many extinct species is being preserved here. While showing his love and affection for animals, Prime Minister Modi gave milk to the lion cubs in Vanatara with a bottle and was seen caressing other creatures.

Vanatara is the home of over 2,000 species and more than 1.5 lakhs, the home of endangered and distressed animals. PM Modi learned about various facilities at Vanatara Wildlife Conservation Center. The Prime Minister also visited Wildlife Hospital in Vanatara and saw veterinary facilities. MRI, CT scan, ICU and many other facilities are available for animals in the hospital here. It also has several departments including wildlife anesthesia, cardiology, nephrology, endoscopy, dental, internal medicine etc.

PM Modi also saw a big dragon, two -headed unique snakes, two -headed turtles, large size udbalav and Bongo (antelope) in Vanatara. Some time ago Anant Ambani gave information about this Vantara. He had told that Vanatara is made up of two words, forest and star. This means that the star of the jungle.
