So currently you will have to wait for about 15 days for the severe cold.
The Meteorological Department has already told that this year it is going to be very cold due to the effect of La Nina. In La Nina the temperature of land and sea surface becomes the same. Due to La Nina, there has been more than average monsoon rainfall this year. Due to this effect, there was severe heat this year. Whereas, on the contrary, when El Nino is affected, the temperature of the sea surface remains lower than that of the land. This reduces heat, rain and cold.
