Supreme Court will give its verdict on bulldozer action
The Supreme Court, in its decision on Wednesday, will set guidelines on the bulldozer action being taken by state governments across the country. The Supreme Court bench headed by Justice BR Gavai will pronounce its verdict at 10:30 am.

Along with this, the Supreme Court had said that any person is an accused or guilty. This cannot be a basis for demolition. The Supreme Court had banned the use of bulldozers on the houses of the accused.

While hearing this case, former CJI Chandrachud had said, ‘You say that he was an encroachment. But how can you start demolishing people’s houses like this? Entering someone’s house and demolishing it without any information, this is anarchy.

Along with this, Chandrachud asked the lawyer representing the Uttar Pradesh government, ‘You cannot demolish the construction overnight with a bulldozer. You don’t give time to the family to vacate the house. What will happen to the household items kept inside the house?
