Mumbai Mumbai Police’s investigation is going on in the case of shooting death of Baba Ziauddin Siddiqui alias Baba Siddiqui. Mumbai Police has arrested 2 accused who murdered Baba Siddiqui. The search for an accused is ongoing. According to Mumbai Police, the accused arrested for the murder of Baba Siddiqui are from UP and Haryana. Police is also investigating from this angle whether Lawrence Bishnoi gang got Baba Siddiqui murdered? The reason for this is that Baba Siddiqui is very close to Salman Khan and Salman Khan is the target of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. According to Mumbai Police, Baba Siddiqui was shot once in the chest and twice in the stomach with a 9.9 mm pistol. Baba Siddiqui is survived by his wife Shahzeen Siddiqui, son Zeeshan Siddiqui and daughter Arshia Siddiqui.
Baba Siddiqui was 66 years old. Baba Siddiqui had gone to the office of his son Zeeshan Siddiqui on Saturday night. As soon as he came out of the car and sat in the car, he was killed by firing indiscriminately. Baba Siddiqui was born in Patna. After coming to Mumbai, he joined student politics and then became a corporator. Baba Siddiqui was MLA thrice on Congress ticket. In 2014, he was defeated by BJP Mumbai President Ashish Shelar. He suddenly left Congress this year and joined Ajit Pawar’s NCP. Baba Siddiqui was known for his Iftar parties. In these Iftar parties, there used to be a gathering of Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and other Bollywood actors at Baba Siddiqui’s house.
In the year 2008, when there was a dispute between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party, it was resolved by Baba Siddiqui and the two actors became friends again. Baba Siddiqui was also involved in money laundering case. In the affidavit given to the Election Commission, he had declared his assets worth Rs 76 crore, but in 2018, the ED had seized 33 flats of Baba Siddiqui’s real estate companies Siddiqui Developers and Pyramid Developers. The price of these flats was estimated at Rs 462 crore. Baba Siddiqui was fond of jewelery and expensive Mercedes car. He had told the Election Commission that he had a car and jewelery worth Rs 30 crore.
