New Delhi. Moving towards electing its new president, BJP has appointed National Election Officer and co-officers to conduct the organizational elections. According to BJP’s National Executive Dr. K. Laxman has been selected as the National Returning Officer for the organizational elections. Dr. K. Laxman is the national president of BJP OBC Morcha and Rajya Sabha MP. Dr. K. coming from Telangana. Laxman has also been MLA from Musheerabad Assembly twice. Laxman has also taken over the charge of Telangana BJP President.

Apart from Laxman, three other people Naresh Bansal, Rekha Verma and Sambit Patra have also been elected as National Deputy Election Officer (National Co-Returning Officer) in the Organizational Election Committee. Naresh Bansal is BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP from Uttarakhand while Rekha Verma is BJP Vice President while Sambit Patra is Lok Sabha MP from Puri as well as the national spokesperson of the party. BJP National President JP Nadda approved these appointments in the Organizational Election Committee as per the decision of the party’s National Executive. Now the BJP organization will be elected under the leadership of this committee and after that the national president will be selected. However, this entire process will take about two months.
This committee of BJP will first organize elections for the state organization. First of all, there will be election of Mandal President of BJP, then District President and then State President. After these elections the National President will be elected. Let us tell you that the tenure of current BJP President JP Nadda was completed in June this year but the party had given him an extension. After winning the Lok Sabha elections, JP Nadda is currently holding the post of Union Health Minister in the third term of the Modi government.
