The notification will be advocated in the NEA -based NEA’s special courts and High Court in a case related to the 26/11 Mumbai attacks for the next three years.
Narendra Mann has advocated in many cases as a public prosecutor even before this high profile case. In the year 2018, he also argued in the Power Selection Commission (SSC) paper leak case. In view of his previous record, the Center has appointed Narendra Mann as a government lawyer in this matter.
Delhi court received records of 26/11 attack trial
New Delhi: A Delhi court has received the records of the trial in this regard before the alleged conspirator Tawwur Hussain Rana from the US coming to India from the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. A court source gave this information. Rana, the prime accused of the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai, is being brought to India by a special aircraft on Thursday. His last attempt to avoid extradition failed after Rana’s application was rejected by the Supreme Court of America. According to the instructions given on January 28 to send a record to a Mumbai court employees, the court of District Judge Vimal Kumar Yadav recently got these records.
The judge passed the order on the application filed by the National Investigation Agency in Delhi requesting Mumbai to get a record. The lower court records were first sent to Mumbai due to the presence of several cases related to 26/11 attacks in both Delhi and Mumbai cities. Shocking Rana, an American court had earlier ruled that a Canadian businessman of Pakistani-origin could be extradited to India, where it is desired to attend the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks by Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in Pakistan.
