New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Nangloi Jat, Delhi, Raghavendra Shaukeen will be included in the cabinet of Chief Minister Atishi. Raghavendra Shaukeen Atishi will replace Kailash Gehlot in the cabinet who has resigned and joined BJP. Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi CM Manish Sisodia made this announcement. Aam Aadmi Party has not chosen Raghavendra Shaukeen as the new cabinet minister just like that, there is a well thought out strategy behind it.

Raghavendra Shaukeen is an MLA from Nangloi Jat of Delhi. Born in Haryana, Raghavendra Shaukeen himself also comes from the community. Raghavendra became MLA for the first time in the 2015 assembly elections by winning the election from Nangloi Jat seat. After this, Raghavendra again won from the same seat in the 2020 elections and became MLA. Now, after the big Jat leader of Aam Aadmi Party like Kailash Gehlot, who is highly educated and also has deep influence among the Jats, left the party, Arvind Kejriwal found the name of Raghavendra Shaukeen absolutely right as another Jat leader like him. In fact, Raghavendra has not only won re-election from Jat dominated area but he himself is highly educated. This is the reason why Aam Aadmi Party chose Raghavendra Shokeen as the replacement of Kailash Gehlot.

Raghavendra is an avid civil engineer and has a degree in engineering from NIT Kurukshetra. Apart from this, while being in Aam Aadmi Party, he has done many works related to education in rural areas of Delhi. On the other hand, after the announcement of being made a cabinet minister, Raghavendra Shokeen thanked Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and the top leadership of Aam Aadmi Party. With this he talked about taking everyone along and working for the better development of Delhi.
