Mumbai Who will be the next CM of Maharashtra? Many discussions are going on on this question. Amidst these discussions, Shiv Sena chief and current Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has made an appeal to his supporters. Eknath Shind has said that no one should come to CM residence to support him. Amidst this appeal, there is also news that Eknath Shinde can be brought into central politics and BJP can give his son the post of Deputy CM in Maharashtra government. This will also preserve the respect of Eknath Shinde’s seniority and will also pave the way for BJP to make Devendra Fadnavis the CM of Maharashtra.
Actually, the inside news is that Eknath Shinde wants him to become the CM of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena’s argument behind this is that BMC elections are yet to be held and Mahayuti will benefit in the BMC elections too when Eknath Shinde is the CM. BMC elections are to be held after 3 years. At the same time, because of the way BJP has won more seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections than last time, it wants the post of CM for itself. In such a situation, there is a preparation to resolve the issue through a meeting between BJP leadership and Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar in Delhi itself. Earlier on Monday, news had come that Ajit Pawar’s NCP has no objection to making Devendra Fadnavis the CM. However, NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal had voted to make Ajit Pawar the CM.
The grand alliance of BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP has performed tremendously in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. The grand alliance gave a big blow to Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena-UBT, Congress and Sharad Pawar’s NCP. The situation is such that Uddhav Thackeray’s party could win only 20 seats and Sharad Pawar’s NCP could win only 10 seats. Whereas, in the Lok Sabha elections, these parties together had secured a good number of seats, giving a blow to the Mahayuti.
