Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has described the continuous election victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the result of opposition’s failure and the united of Hindu voters. He also said that it is wrong to accuse him of breaching among the anti -Modi voters.

What did Owaisi say on the allegations against him?

Owaisi said in an interview to PTI on Saturday that how can I be accused, tell me? He said, ‘If I contest in Hyderabad, Aurangabad, Kishanganj and some other seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and BJP gets 240 seats, is I responsible?’

BJP did 50 percent of Hindu votes in its favor

Owaisi said, ‘BJP is coming to power, because the opposition fails. The BJP is winning the election, as it has cast about 50 percent of Hindu votes in its favor. He said that the opposition’s attempt to accuse him and call him ‘B-Team’ is nothing but ‘hate’ towards his party, as his party mainly represents Muslims.

Opposition parties see Muslim vote only for electoral gains

Owaisi retaliated by opposition parties, accusing the ‘All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslim Min of anti-Modi votes’ (AIMIM), saying that opposition parties see Muslim votes as electoral benefits only, while do not pay attention to their real issues.

Why can’t Muslims get leadership?

He questioned, ‘When every section of the society can get political leadership, why not Muslims?’ Asked whether his gesture is towards the Congress, he said that he is gesture to all opposition parties and BJP including Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Samajwadi Party (SP).

Yadav will be leaders, Muslims will be beggars

Owaisi said, ‘Yadav will be leaders, Muslims will be beggars. The upper caste people will be leaders, Muslims will be beggars. Tell me how it is appropriate. ‘ He also said that the founding leaders of India had imagined the country as a participant democracy, so ‘Where is the participation of Muslims?’

Will always stand with the Indian Army

Owaisi said, ‘When there is a question of India’s integrity and security, we will come forward and stand with the Indian Army. But we also have to talk about the problems inside our house. He said that despite being the largest minority group in the country with about 15 percent of the population, Muslims and Parliament have only four percent participation in Parliament. When asked the reason for this, he said that this is because political parties do not give Muslims tickets to contest elections.

This government cannot achieve the goal of ‘developed India’

He said that India cannot achieve the target of ‘developed India’ by keeping such a large community marginalized and weak. Owaisi said that political parties should stop seeing Muslims as a vote bank and instead should work to raise them, educate them, to treat them properly and give them jobs. He said, ‘Our fight is that we do not want to remain voters. We want to remain citizens.
