New Delhi. The results of Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections have come out. Here the National Conference is going to form the government with its alliance partner Congress Party. Omar Abdullah will be the next Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. BJP has won a total of 29 seats, yet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda are also happy about the performance of their party. After all, what is the reason that BJP is happy even after losing in Jammu and Kashmir? Actually there are mainly two reasons for this. One reason is that even though National Conference has become the largest party by winning 42 seats, BJP has become the second largest party with 29 seats. Whereas Congress had to be satisfied with 6 seats and PDP with only 3 seats.

The second reason to be happy with these results is that BJP has been at the forefront in Jammu and Kashmir in terms of vote percentage. BJP overtook National Conference in terms of overall vote percentage. BJP got the maximum 25.64 percent votes while National Conference got 23.43 percent votes. Seen from this perspective, this is BJP’s best performance till date in Jammu and Kashmir and this is the reason why BJP is happy even after losing.
Accept the mandate received in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. Violent incidents have been curbed in Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370. There was a time when the voting percentage was very low, but this time the huge turnout in the elections is an unprecedented participation of the public in the festival of democracy.
