New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement of resigning on Sunday. After this announcement, there has been a stir in the political corridors. Leaders of the opposition party BJP are constantly reacting to this. Meanwhile, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has given a big statement on the reason behind Kejriwal’s resignation.
BJP leader reveals: Wife Sunita Kejriwal’s connection
Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that Arvind Kejriwal has asked for two days to resign so that he can convince his leaders to make his wife Sunita Kejriwal the Chief Minister. According to Sirsa, Kejriwal wants to hold early elections to help the party MLAs get re-elected. He said that Arvind Kejriwal is talking to all the party MLAs and convincing them to accept Sunita as the Chief Minister.
Arvind Kejriwal’s so-called offer to resign as CM is no act of sacrifice; it’s yet another political stunt. Despite securing bail, the courts have made it clear that he can’t continue wielding power as Chief Minister, tarnished by his alleged involvement in the liquor scam.

Sunita Kejriwal’s entry into politics
After Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, his wife Sunita Kejriwal actively stepped into the political arena. Sunita Kejriwal is a former IRS officer and had stayed away from politics till now. This rally was in support of the ‘India Alliance’, and from here Sunita started playing an important role in politics. During the rally, she not only criticized the policies of the central government, but also showed an aggressive stance in support of her husband.
First road show and activism in Lok Sabha elections
During the Lok Sabha elections, when Arvind Kejriwal was in jail, Sunita Kejriwal took charge. On April 27, she participated in her first road show, where she came out in support of AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar. In this road show, she had stressed, “Jiska aadmi jail me ho, usko to bahar aaya hi padega.” Her speech had filled the party workers and supporters with new energy.
Also active in Haryana assembly elections
Recently, Sunita Kejriwal also took the lead on behalf of the party in the Haryana assembly elections. While addressing women in Bhiwani, she announced the five guarantees of her party. During this, Sunita targeted the BJP and said, “Modi ji is afraid of your son.”
