New Delhi. There may be an alliance between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party for the Haryana assembly elections. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has sought the opinion of Haryana Congress leaders on the possibility of an alliance with Arvind Kejriwal’s party. Now after Rahul Gandhi expressed his desire for an alliance, the Aam Aadmi Party has also responded in this regard. AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that I welcome Rahul Gandhi’s statement. There is a decision-making process in the party and further strategy will be decided on that basis.

Sanjay Singh said that certainly defeating BJP is the priority of all of us. But regarding the alliance, officially AAP’s Haryana in-charge Sandeep Pathak and Sushil Gupta will talk and consult party convenor Arvind Kejriwal and the final decision will be taken on the alliance. Let us tell you that it is being claimed in the media report that in the Congress Working Committee meeting held on Monday, Rahul Gandhi, while talking to the party leaders regarding the Haryana assembly elections, asked whether contesting the elections alone will not harm the party? Along with this, he has also sought the opinion of the party leaders of the state on the possibility of an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party.
It is worth noting that in the Lok Sabha elections held earlier this year, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party had contested the elections together in Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Gujarat and Goa. However, this alliance did not show any benefit anywhere. After losing all the seats in Delhi, Congress and AAP leaders started blaming each other. Now there is a possibility of an alliance between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party once again for the Haryana assembly elections.
