Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar’s response has come. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar said in a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Saturday that no decision has been taken about the meeting of PM Modi and Mohammad Yunus. The insistence of Bangladesh is currently being considered. At the same time, in the meeting, some members of the Parliamentary Committee wanted to know from External Affairs Minister Jaishankar that Hindus are being attacked in Bangladesh. On this question, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar told the Parliamentary Committee that the interim government of Bangladesh says that the attacks were not carried out by the minorities, but were inspired by politics. The Foreign Minister said that talks have been held with the Bangladesh government in this regard. Jaishankar told the Parliamentary Committee that at the same time the Modi government will continue to talk on attacks against minority Hindus in Bangladesh. Jaishankar also informed the Parliamentary Committee about the relationship with Maldives, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. The Foreign Minister will later tell the Parliamentary Committee on relations with China and Pakistan.

After the formation of an interim government in Bangladesh, there were attacks on Hindus there. There were also incidents of rape from many women. Then there were incidents of attacks on minority Buddhists and Christians in Bangladesh. India had sent Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri to Bangladesh and expressed their concern about the attack on Hindus. Earlier in a virtual meeting, PM Narendra Modi also asked Mohammad Yunus to stop attacks and atrocities on Hindus.
