All the Muslim organizations are mobilizing against the Waqf Amendment Bill. This bill was introduced in the Parliament and after opposition leaders protested, it was sent to the Joint Committee of Parliament. Currently, the Joint Committee of Parliament is discussing this bill and after necessary changes, this bill will be sent back to the government. After this, this bill will be presented again in the Parliament and after debate, it will take the form of a law.
This law can be implemented after the President’s approval. Currently, the government has sought suggestions from the general public regarding the proposed amendment in this Act. In such a situation, all Muslim organizations are constantly appealing to the Muslim community of the country to raise their voices against this bill as much as possible. To ensure that more and more Muslims participate in this process, a campaign against it is being run through social media.
Muslim organizations created QR code
Muslim organizations have created a special QR code, with the help of which one can go directly to the page where one can register his opinion against this bill. All India Milli Council organized a meeting in this regard in Bengaluru last Friday. In the meeting, a resolution was unanimously passed that protests will be held across the country against the Waqf Bill. As many Muslims of the country as possible will be united against this proposed law.
Announcement is being made on the speaker in Delhi
A video has also surfaced from Delhi, in which some Muslim youths are roaming from street to street with a mike and speaker in their hands. These people are not only appealing to the general public to give suggestions, but are also provoking them. In the video, these youths can be heard saying that if this law comes, then your mosques, Idgah and graveyards will be taken away from you. However, the government says that this bill is in the interest of the Muslim community. This will make the maintenance of the properties of the Waqf Board easier and it will be easier to settle disputed properties.
