Women's Day: Filmmakers should be seen beyond gender discrimination, actresses expressed concern over salary inequality

On International Women’s Day, many directors and actors associated with the film industry emphasized that the time has come when the filmmakers are stopped to be classified on the basis of women and men and female actors get equal pay.

Director Shonali Bose said that women are always seen as a filmmaker based on their gender, while they should be considered just a filmmaker.
