Kindness Team of Indian migrants in Dubai has so far saved the lives of more than 25 thousand people. An attempt started with a simple thinking ten years ago in Dubai has become a life-saving mission today. In 2015, three Indian migrants established the Kindness Blood Donation Team in Dubai by three Indian migrants. Today it has become an organized team. Hundreds of blood donation camps were organized under this team. Patients like Thalassemia, cancer, accident and surgery saved their lives on time.
Blood donation can be made simple, accessible and regular
Shihab Theruwath said that we realized that many people do not know how many lives they can save by donating blood and those who know, do not know where and how to donate blood regularly? Lack of awareness is the biggest obstacle and this was the reason that they started the ‘Kindness Blood Donation Team’ so that people could be told about the importance of blood donation and blood donation could be made simple, accessible and regular.
One of the most active blood donation communities in Dubai
To make blood donation easier and accessible, the Kindness team adopted digital methods. He formed a WhatsApp group based on various areas of Dubai, so that the volunteers can be raised fast when needed. Today, this team has become one of the most active blood donation communities in Dubai.
Anwar Wayanad said, people’s busy routines used to stop them from donating blood. That is why we started taking blood donation camps to them and organized camps in different parts of the city. People’s response was strong.
