Be careful. Worship has started at the ancient temple located in Sambhal, UP, which was discovered and opened by the administration on Saturday. This temple is in Mahmood Khan Sarai area of Sambhal. This is the same place where the Jama Masjid of Sambhal is. The temple which was discovered by the Sambhal administration belongs to the house of a Hindu family. The family moved away from here and worship was not held in the temple since 1978. This ancient temple was also discovered during the investigation of electricity theft case in Sambhal. After which the police and administration opened it and cleaned it.

The district administration is writing to ASI to find out the antiquity of this temple of Sambhal. Besides, an investigation has also been conducted into illegal construction around the temple. Sambhal DM Rajendra Pensia told the media that the information about the owner of the temple and the house is being investigated. This will then be recorded in government documents. According to the DM, the well which was filled outside the temple is also being renovated. There is an ancient Shivalinga and the statue of Hanuman ji inside the temple. Electricity connection has also been provided to the temple and CCTV cameras have also been installed to protect it from illegal encroachment again.
Recently, violence had erupted in Sambhal during the Court Commissioner survey of Jama Masjid. The crowd created a ruckus and pelted stones at the police and also set fire to the vehicles parked there. The district administration of Sambhal has identified 400 people in connection with that disturbance. More than 30 miscreants were also arrested. After this, the administration started a campaign against illegal electricity connections and encroachment in Sambhal. Sambhal administration has also sent a notice to local MP Zia ur Rehman Burke. The MP is accused of getting the house constructed without getting the map approved.
